ITServe Boston Chapter Launched

“It’s truly historic for ITServe Alliance to have our Boston Chapter launched, joining ITServe’s 23 other Chapters, taking the total number to ITServe chapters to 24, spread across the United States,” said Anju Vallabhaneni, President of ITServe, the largest association of IT Solutions & Services organizations, representing over 2,300+ member companies across the United States.

The historic launch event of the Boston Chapter was held at the Double Tree Hilton in Worcester, MA on April 18th, 2025 with nearly 150 ITServe members and sponsors from across the United States joining to celebrate this achievement. The energy was incredible as industry leaders shared their insights, setting the stage for the future of ITServe in Boston and across the United States.

In his Presidential address, Anju Vallabhaneni, President of ITServe Alliance, recalled his close association with Worcester, and he said. “On behalf of the ITServe leadership, I want to thank everyone here for coming here today, I am proud to represent, the 2,300+ member company organizations.” Pointing to the role of ITServe, Vallabhaneni emphasized its efforts to counter unfair government policies and support IT companies’ growth. He highlighted ITServe’s benefits, including discounts from top immigration attorneys, telecom services, tech insurance firms, and payroll services via ADP. Members also enjoy savings on services from DICE and LinkedIn, weekly webinars, chapter meetings, regional meetings, and synergy events addressing current topics.

ITServe’s upcoming job board will enhance user experience, allowing members to match their resumes with employers’ requirements nationwide, a valuable benefit for all members. Vallabhaneni noted the organization’s CSR initiatives, which foster goodwill and brand ITServe positively within the American community.

Quoting the saying, “If you are not at the table, you will be on the menu,” Vallabhaneni stressed the need for unity and expansion. By attracting more members, ITServe can influence immigration policies and secure better benefits from businesses. He expressed gratitude towards sponsors who continuously support ITServe and its numerous initiatives.

Siva Moopanar, President-Elect of ITServe, emphasized Boston’s importance as a tech hub and the timely launch of the chapter during an economic upturn. He expressed hopes for rapid membership growth, aiming for 100 to 200 members soon, and stressed collaboration to strengthen the New England chapter.

Moopanar highlighted ITServe’s broader contributions through CSR, ITSS, CPAC, and PAC, particularly in STEM education and philanthropy, earning praise from various leaders. He described CPAC as a pillar of ITServe, born to address immigration policy concerns affecting the IT industry.

 

Collecting data from member companies to tackle common issues, Moopanar urged members to consult the PAC Team for immigration concerns. He emphasized the critical role of high-skill legal immigration in fostering innovation, job growth, and economic prosperity in the U.S., advocating for collective efforts to improve businesses and contribute to the country’s success.

Chandra Sekhar Nallam, in his response after being installed as the President of the newly launched ITServe Boston Chapter, expressed gratitude to the ITServe National Leadership for appointing him as the Founding President. He also thanked the Boston Core Team for unanimously electing him and pledged to create a collaborative and growth-driven environment while furthering CSR efforts to give back to the local community.

He acknowledged the vision of the Governing and Executive Boards and extended special thanks to Srinivas Gattu, Sharad Patney, Ram Dondapati, Suman Kora, Chandra Yamsani, Venu Mammai, Dibs Mahanta, Prasad Chintalapudi, Prasad Maganti, and Srikanth Dasugari for their support in launching the Boston Chapter. As part of their CSR commitment, the chapter donated $5,000 to a local community college for STEM education and $1,000 to the Worcester Police Department.

Jagadish Mosali, ITServe Governing Board Member and Immediate Past President, reflected on ITServe’s journey from a small Dallas-based network in 2010 to a nationally recognized association. He credited the collective efforts of volunteers, members, and sponsors for the organization’s rapid growth and impactful advocacy.

Amar Varada, also a Governing Board Member, highlighted ITServe’s national footprint with 2,500+ members contributing over $12 billion to the U.S. economy and creating 150,000+ high-paying jobs. He emphasized ITServe’s focus on collaboration, innovation, and policy advocacy to empower the IT services community.

In his keynote, Gururaj Deshpande, Entrepreneur and Venture Capitalist, spoke about building businesses in a changing world, the evolving role of service companies, and the future of AI. He pointed to the influence of major tech players like OpenAI, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and Elon Musk, encouraging service providers to leverage AI to elevate client solutions.

Ramesh Razdan, Global CTO & CIO at Bain, stressed the importance of responsible leadership in an era shaped by AI, environmental concerns, and economic shifts. He urged companies to invest in talent upskilling, data privacy, and innovation to remain resilient.
