ITServe Alliance Makes Waves with Bay Area Chapter Meeting and
Sacramento Chapter Soft Launch in San Francisco

National Team, Industry Leaders, and Local Officials Collaborate for Community Impact and AI Innovation San Francisco, CA — On October 9, 2025, the ITServe Alliance celebrated a landmark occasion with a joint Bay Area Chapter Meeting and Sacramento Chapter Soft Launch, bringing together the organization’s National Team, regional leaders, industry visionaries, and local officials for a day devoted to collaboration, innovation, and community engagement. Held at the San Ramon Marriott, the event attracted over 100 members, sponsors, and guests, underscoring ITServe’s commitment to driving technological progress and fostering positive change in the communities it serves.

Distinguished members of the ITServe National Team attended, including Suresh Potluri (Secretary), Vijay Kommineni (Director – Chapter Relations), Prasad Arikatla (Director – Membership), Sharad Patney (Director – Speakers), Manish Mehra, Synergy 2025 Director, Babu Gurram (Chair – Board Coordinator & Contracts, Associate Director for Synergy 2025), Suresh Kandala (Chair – Chapter Relations, Associate Director for Synergy 2025), Srinivas Vemula (Chair – Membership Renewals), Satya Balla, and past National President Shashidhar Devireddy.

Jay Kulkarni, President of the Bay Area Chapter, outlined his strategic vision for the chapter’s future—emphasizing enhanced collaboration, diversity, and a stronger community footprint. “We’re committed to STEM-focused Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, including scholarships to nurture local talent and reinforce the Bay Area’s reputation as a global technology hub,” Kulkarni said. His roadmap aims to position the chapter as a nucleus for sustainable advancement and enduring community impact.

The spirit of partnership was further highlighted by a special address from Chief Denton Carlson of the San Ramon Police Department. Chief Carlson praised ITServe members for their ongoing commitment to community service and engagement. In a gesture symbolizing the strong bond between ITServe and local law enforcement, the organization—represented by Anju Vallabhaneni, Jay Kulkarni, and the CSR team—presented a $4,000 donation to Chief Carlson. This contribution reflects ITServe’s dedication to fostering mutual support and safety in the local community.

Bhanu provided the latest insights on immigration developments, while Siva Moopanar detailed the current status of the H1B visa program. These briefings resonated with attendees, many of whom are directly affected by policy shifts. Moopanar emphasized ITServe’s advocacy initiatives, including collaborations with law firms and lawmakers in Washington, D.C., and referenced Capitol Day as a key platform for raising the collective voice of member companies in the policymaking arena.

National Team and Executive Board: Recognizing Leadership and Growth.

Suresh Potluri, ITServe’s national Secretary, welcomed both the visiting national team and the local Executive Board to the stage, expressing heartfelt appreciation for their leadership and service. President Anju Vallabhaneni outlined the extensive benefits ITServe provides to over 2,000 member companies nationwide, spanning IT services, staffing, and consulting. Vallabhaneni also shared updates from recent meetings in India, where leaders from Andhra Pradesh pledged land for ITServe initiatives—a development poised to fuel future business growth and international collaboration.

Synergy and Industry Collaboration Take Center Stage

Manish Mehra, Synergy Director for 2025, addressed the importance of synergy and teamwork both within ITServe and across the broader tech sector. He, along with national core team members Anju Vallabhaneni, Siva Mupanar, Babu Gurram, Suresh Kandala, and Vinay Parachuri, previewed ambitious collaborative projects for Synergy 2025 in Puerto Rico. Mehra gave special recognition to Associate Directors Suresh Kandala and Babu Gurram for their leadership in fostering innovation and collaboration.

“With a tradition of convening the world’s foremost voices in technology, business, and leadership, this year’s Synergy event will feature keynote speakers, interactive panels, and hands-on sessions designed to empower and unite over 2,000 CEOs and executives globally,” Mehra noted, highlighting the event’s role in shaping the future of the industry.

AI Panel Explores the Future of Technology

A major highlight of the day was the panel discussion entitled “AI and Its Impact: Shaping the Future by Industry Leaders,” moderated by Rahul Kuruvilla. The panel featured distinguished experts: Manisha Gupta (Oracle Vice President), Kavitha Prasad (AWS General Manager), and Dev Malladi (AI & Digital Transformation Advisor).

Gupta emphasized the crucial role of people in achieving business success, drawing from her leadership experience at Oracle, CafePress, LinkedIn, and eBay. She discussed how AI tools are being used to predict skill gaps, nurture future leaders, and enhance employee retention across industries.

Prasad shared strategies for building high-performance teams and delivering innovative products in the Cloud, Enterprise, and Embedded sectors, leveraging her expertise in both hardware and software development. Malladi, a seasoned entrepreneurial leader, illustrated how diverse teams can drive significant growth through strategic transformation and a relentless focus on customer success, referencing his work with Cisco and SAP.

The meticulously planned event spanned 2 hours and 10 minutes, with the first hour dedicated to recognizing sponsors, organizational updates, and CSR presentations, followed by the engaging AI panel.
